Lake of the Ozarks KOA – Missouri
Our last stop before reaching Melissa's farm in Dixon, Missouri, was a KOA camp at Lake of the Ozarks. We'd never been there before and it was a beautiful place, a great mixture of trees and lakes.
On the way there, we saw a funny sign, "Tightwad Bank" with all zero's. The name of the town was Tightwad. Don't know what the zero's were supposed to represent, but it seemed appropriate.
We needed a quick overnight stop to do laundry and get cleaned up before heading to Melissa's place, which was only an hour away.
This KOA had everything we needed.
