Silver Dollar City – Branson, Missouri

We left our temp home at Melissa & Mark's garage property on 3/18, headed for Silver Dollar City Amusement Park.   Melissa, Mark and the grandkids met us there for two nights of camping.

When we arrived we found out that an RV was broken down in Melissa and Mark's spot, site # 1. So we gave them our spot #4 which was long enough for their 32 foot rig.

We took site #6 which was tight. We had a helluva time getting in there, but made it work.

After the tough start, the rest of the Silver Dollar experience was super fun. The first night we sat out by the campfire and talked with Mark and Melissa 'til it was time for bed.

The next morning we left shortly after 9am and all drove together to the Amusement Park in Mark's truck.

It was a gorgeous 85º day and we had the most wonderful time.  One of those days that will live on in our memories, just the perfect day.

On Friday morning, 3/20, we said a tearful goodbye and began our trip home.
