Y-Knott Winery – Glenns Ferry, ID

This is the second time we stayed at this harvest House location. The first time we stayed in their RV park and paid for electrical, but this time we decided to Boondock because we knew we would have full hook up the next day.

The drive was difficult as the wind was blowing 35 mph with gusts to 45 and 50.  We didn’t want to chance it by driving too fast, so we drove 55 to 60 mph the entire way.

When we arrived at the winery, temps were in the mid-50's and the wind didn’t let up until 8 PM, but that didn’t stop me from getting in nine holes of golf have their cute little golf course. Cost $14 to play and it was a fun little course.

We had the most delicious dinner, Karen had a salad and I had cheese broccoli soup as a starter, then we split a plate of halibut, mashed potatoes, fresh veggies and topped it off with a piece of carrot cake to go.

At night it got below freezing, 27°. Welcome back to the Pacific Northwest!
